Energy Storage Training
PowerSwitch offers a variety of training courses in energy storage, which can be provided in-person or virtually.
Our staff for each training is chosen for the presentation based on their experience, and the courses are designed to be interactive to encourage questions and discussions by engaging with the audience. Each course can be tailored to suit the needs of your organization, and new courses can be developed upon request. All courses include video recordings of the sessions which are provided for future reference, along with PDFs of the presentations.
Battery basics
Review of the basics of utility-scale batteries used in industry: covers types of chemistry, battery cells, modules, racks, BMS, and basic functionality of all components
Integrated battery systems
A walkthrough of all components that build the battery into a fully functional plant, including inverters (PCS), enclosures, balance-of-plant, controls / SCADA, and utility interactions
Battery design workshop

Case studies
Summary of real-life projects that are relevant to your application, can be C&I, Utility, mining, VPP, etc - whatever you are interested in. Additionally, if it's of interest, can cover case studies where PowerSwitch has been an expert witness in litigation related to BESS projects, and their resolution (anonymized)
